Our Practice

Married since 2012, this husband-and-wife team has worked to continue to build both a thriving dental practice and a strong, family-centered life together. As a dedicated dentist, Dr. Calliannie is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care to every patient. Constantly furthering her education and advocating for her patients' care through being active in the dental society on a local, state and national level. Alongside her, James serves as the office manager, ensuring the practice runs smoothly and that every patient is heard and taken care of. Together, they create a warm, friendly environment that reflects their shared commitment to excellence and community. They want to express their gratitude to the Dental Family they have built and bring together to provide the best experience and care for all patients. Outside of the office, they stay busy with their two children, Leighton-Marie and Case Michael, and their two gentle giant Great Danes. As a family, they love soccer and spend as much time as possible together, making memories and supporting one another in everything they do. They travel all across the state for the kids' sporting teams and continuing education opportunities. 

Emily has been a dental hygienist since 2022 and is passionate about advocating for her patients and helping them feel comfortable, confident, and cared for at every visit. She enjoys building relationships and creating a relaxed, positive experience in the dental chair. Outside of the office, Emily is an old soul and a self-described jack of all trades who loves staying busy with creative and hands-on hobbies. She enjoys crocheting, quilting, baking, gardening, canning and playing the guitar and banjo. She shares her home with her husband, Tom, their dogs, Maple and Ricky, and cat, Skeeter who keep life lively and full of charm. 

With 23 years of experience in dental hygiene, he brings a deep commitment to patient care, comfort, and education. Over the course of his career, he has developed a strong reputation for helping patients feel at ease while promoting long-term oral health through personalized treatment and prevention strategies. He takes pride in building lasting relationships with his patients. Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active by spending quality time outdoors with his dog, Brenna. Whether out on a trail or spending time with his siblings, he values the balance of an active lifestyle and the connections he builds both professionally and personally.

Pam has been a dedicated dental assistant for over 40 years, bringing a wealth of experience, compassion and gentle caring to every patient she meets. She takes pride in helping people feel  comfortable and confident in their smiles. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ron, and their son, Chris. In her free time, she loves to go on walks and getting lost in a good book. 

Cheyenne is a dental assistant with 3 years in the field chairside with patient care and clinical support. She truly loves what she does and takes pride in helping patients to feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smiles. Creating a warm, positive experience for each and every patient is what motivates her each day. She is dedicated to growing in her career and am currently continuing her education through Stark State's EFDA program. Outside of the office, her greatest joy is spending time with her beautiful daughter, Brielle, and loving boyfriend, Josh. Whether they are relaxing at home or going on little adventures together, family time means everything to her. 

Payton is one of our dental assistants and patient care is something that means the most to her. Coming to work and getting to help people really perfect their smiles is what the job is really about in her eyes. She graduated from Buckeye Career Center in 2023 from the dental assisting program and has been with our office since December 2023. She continues to expand her knowledge in the field and has since completed her coronal polishing course and sealant certification in 2025, which allows her to be more hands on with the patient cases. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Jake, her stepdaughter, Oakley, and their two dogs, George and Ruger. They enjoy staying in and playing games and building Legos together as family. 

Kaitlyn is a compassionate and enthusiastic dental assistant, just beginning her career in dentistry. She loves helping people achieve a beautiful smile and is dedicated to making every patient feel comfortable and cared for. She graduated from Buckeye Career Center in 2025 and plans to continue her education in dentistry. She is passionate about helping people and works hard to provide excellent support to her dental team. Though early in her career, Kaitlyn is eager to learn and grown with experience in chairside assisting, patient preparation, sterilization protocols and digital imaging. Outside  of work, she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful children and family, along with her two beloved cats and many chickens and turkeys. She loves being outdoors and cherishes the simple, peaceful moments at home with her loved ones. 

Lexi is one of the receptionists here in our practice. She has been with us and working in the dental field since 2022. She enjoys creating a welcoming and friendly experience for patients from the moment that they arrive and reach out to us with questions and care needs. Lexi is married and has 3 kids, which keeps life busy and fun. In her free time, she loves playing softball and spending quality time with her family. 

Paulina is one of our receptionists and interpreters within the practice. She helps to ensure that every patient feels welcome, comfortable, and understood from the moment that they arrive and throughout treatment. She enjoys being a bridge between patients and our dental team and making sure communications are clear, and every visit runs smoothly. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Lilah. She loves to be with their families, discovering new places, and creating meaningful moments wherever they go. She states that she is "grateful to work in an office where professionalism, respect, and high standards of care are always a priority."

Nila has been working with Dixon Family Dentistry since 2023, as a receptionist and translator. She is dedicated to assisting patient's by making them feel comfortable throughout their visits. She is fluent in K'iche, Spanish, and English which allows her to support our community even outside of the office. She is happily married and loves spending her free time with her husband and sharing important moments with family. She is proud to be a part of our dental team "because they provide care with respect to everyone, especially to our patients."

Kailey, the office manager helps to keep the practice running smoothly each day. With a background of 6 years in law enforcement in West Virginia and now 2 years in the dental field. She has acquired strong organizational skills, leadership qualities, and a calm patient focused approach. She truly enjoys creating a welcoming, positive experience for both our patients and team. Outside of the office, she loves to play softball and spending quality time with her son, Braylon, and family.
